Finnsheep are a dual-purpose breed that are best known for their prolificacy, lambing in litters with an average rate of 2.7 per breeding. They are mid-sized sheep with clean legs and head, and are naturally polled with short tails. They are very personable and easy to handle. Finn wool ranges from fine to medium with an average 5-6” staple and high luster. We shear twice yearly and our fleeces are highly sought by hand spinners. Our purebred flock are registered with the Finnsheep Breeders Association.
